PBS Car Centre has been on the High Street in Tunstall for over 35 years — same family, same building. We run garage accounts for businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, covering everything from a single company car to a full van fleet.

How an account works



Someone rings and books the vehicle in on 01782 575438.



If one of your drivers is passing, dropping it with us is the simplest thing in the world and we will have it ready the same day. If that does not suit, we will collect it from your premises and bring it back when the work is done. Either way nobody sits in a waiting room or takes a morning off for an MOT.

What you get on an account




  • 10% off servicing for account holders, on prices that are already competitive

  • Free collection and delivery within 5 miles of Tunstall, whenever you need it — and if you are further out, please ask, we can often still collect

  • A courtesy run-around if a vehicle has to stay with us, subject to availability

  • 30 or 60 day credit terms, consolidated invoicing and priority booking



Which vehicles we cover




  • Vans and commercial vehicles, up to Class 7 / Sprinter size

  • Company cars

  • Cars provided to staff as part of their package

  • Employees' own cars used for work



Where it is an employee's own car, the work runs through your business account: the car is registered to the account and we invoice you direct. It is not a discount staff can claim privately.



What we do




  • MOT — £35 Class 4, £45 Class 7, with a free retest within 14 days. We arrange the test and carry out any work it brings up

  • Servicing — interim and full, cars and vans

  • Mechanical repairs — brakes, clutches, exhausts, suspension and cambelts

  • Electrical and diagnostics — engine management faults and warning lights

  • Air conditioning — servicing, regas and repair



Under warranty? You are not tied to a main dealer



Being under warranty does not oblige you to use a franchised dealer. We can do the servicing and the everyday repairs with matching-quality parts and the book stamped, and the warranty stays intact — usually at a good deal less than the dealer charges.



The only thing worth taking back to the dealer is a fault actually covered by the warranty, because that is work you should be getting for nothing.

Ring 01782 575438 and ask for Danielle. We will send the application form over and do the rest. There is no charge to open an account and no minimum spend.

We collect free of charge within 5 miles of Tunstall, which covers Burslem, Chell, Goldenhill, Kidsgrove, Longport, Packmoor, Smallthorne, Talke and Tunstall itself. Further out, please ask.
